Day 4- 남삼 타워(Namsam tower)

Day 4 post is going to be super boring!
Reason being, it has been raining since the moment we woke up!
Therefore, there isn't much things done or photos taken.
Till now, when I am blogging away, it is still pouring outside.
I was actually reluctant to go out today as the weather makes me super sleepy.
Anyway, we did manage to drag our feet out to the 남삼 타워(Namsam tower).
Initially the day before I was still considering whether we should go there because of the long walk to the cable car station but it was like highly recommended by the locals, eg, the staff from the guesthouse and the guy from the lotte mart.
So, I thought the weather will be alright for a walk as it was not raining when we left the guesthouse and the sun was not bright as well.
But when we reached 명동 지하철(MyeongDong station), it was drizzling!
What makes it worst is, the rain got heavier and heavier as we walked 10minutes UPHILL!
The two of us was completely not talking at all since we began making our way up till we took the cable car up to the 남삼 타워(Namsam tower).
Feels so cheated!

Our hard earned ticket!

On the cable car way up.
The view is definitely bad due to the bad weather.

The uncomfortable Melissa who is afraid of heights and dislike the swaying of the cable car.

The cable car station.

Pictures to proof to you that it was raining cats and dogs there.

Some monument thing there.
I think it was used in the ancient times.

A pavilion there that I feel that is quite nice but Melissa find it very Chinese.

The 남삼 타워(Namsam tower)!

The famous love locks~
Feels so romantic.
How I wish I can go back there one day with a boyfriend to put a lock...
But there are also exception.

Someone put a cooking pot there!
Hahaha.

"Adults only" chair, children not allowed to sit.
Lol.

The cable car that is made famous by the drama "꽃보다 남자(Boys over flowers)".

Anyway, we went to this very nice italian restaurant which has a fabulous view overseeing the city.

The place dining.

Our view overseeing the city.
Will be quite nice if its night time.
Shall not post the photos of the food we ate to tempt all.
It was indeed too good for the price!

After we left the 남삼 타워(Namsam tower), we were like looking for alternative way to go back to the subway.
Apparently, there is elevator that brings you up!
But obviously you have to walk a bit of distance from the 명동 지하철(MyeongDong station).
But it beats walking uphill!
It is actually behind 명동(MyeongDong) shopping area.
It can also be reached from 회현 지하철(Hoeohyeon station).
I recommend people to actually go take a look there because it is full of vintage stuff.
Melissa and I bought like 3 vinyl(LP) records for quite cheap.
You can also ask for discounts there!

The place full of vinyl records.
I am so going to find a turntable or gramophone when I get back to Singapore!
As for dinner, we got the people from the guesthouse to order 짜장면(Jjajangmyeon) and 탕수육(Tangsuyuk) for us as it was still raining quite heavily when we got back.
Shall my post today with this picture I took of an anonymous guy.
Just find it romantic.
Goodnight!
